Administrator

Blargoans Ltd have a 12-month contract opportunity for an Administrator to work within our client’s facility in Caithness.

 

Opportunities have arisen to join our Reactors Programme team as an Administrator, providing essential support across our areas of responsibility, including PFR and DFR. This is a varied role where your organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively will help ensure our programme continues to deliver effectively.

 

You’ll join a supportive team and work with colleagues across site and our external contractor community. We’re looking for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in delivering a high-quality service and can flex between different priorities and work areas when needed.

 

What you’ll be doing:

You’ll play an important role in keeping our team organised, informed and on track. Providing a broad range of administrative and system support, you’ll help coordinate documentation, maintain accurate information and ensure activities are completed securely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.

 

  • Keep information moving: Collate, coordinate, verify and control documentation, ensuring data is handled securely and in line with company procedures.
  • Support our people and projects: Provide system, facilities, and project administration, responding to queries and supporting end users.
  • Keep everything organised: Manage day-to-day administration including purchasing, correspondence, filing, scanning, archiving, meeting arrangements and accurate minute taking.
  • Maintain accurate systems: Input, maintain and retrieve electronic data, support system testing and tracking/reporting activities, and undertake relevant processes and authorisations associated with the role

You’ll be an organised and adaptable administrator who enjoys working as part of a team while also being confident using your own initiative. You’ll communicate effectively with a range of people, manage competing priorities and remain focused on delivering accurate, high-quality work, even when deadlines are demanding.

 

  • Administrative experience: A standard level of education together with relevant administration experience and strong organisational skills.
  • Confident with technology: Good IT skills, including experience using databases, systems and software packages, with the ability and enthusiasm to learn more complex systems.
  • A strong communicator and team player: Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships while also working independently when required.
  • Organised and resilient: Able to prioritise effectively, work to deadlines and maintain accuracy and quality when working under pressure. The role is also subject to the relevant post-specific capability analysis assessment

 

 

Terms and Conditions

Basic Hourly Rate – £13.60 to £16.24 PAYE per hour depending on experience

Working Hours – 37.9 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with every third Friday as a non-working day

Annual Holiday Entitlement – 25 days annual leave, 8 public holidays, 2.5 privilege holidays

Contract Duration – 12 month contract

Location – Based on site, no flexible working available

Security Clearance – The successful candidate will be required to undergo security clearance checks
