Blargoans Ltd have a 12 month contract opportunity for an Operator to work within our Client’s facility in Caithness.

A vacancy has arisen for a Stores Operator. The purpose of the post is to provide a stores service, be responsible for the receipt, storage and despatch of site orders.


Main Responsibilities:

  • RIC Bay – Accept deliveries, scan, put into cages and deliver
  • Bulk items for Stores to be delivered to Stores binned area
  • Fuel Pumps – checking withdrawals and checking stock
  • Assisting all other Logistic areas as and when required
  • Escort deliveries
  • Maintain, issue and monitor stocks including stocktaking and gas cylinders.
  • Operate within Safety Management Systems, i.e. Permit to Work, Standard Operating Procedures and SSOW.
  • Interface with customers and answer enquiries.
  • Operate ancillary equipment such as fork lift trucks and LGV’s, etc.
  • Undertake general housekeeping and cleanliness.
  • Perform the responsibilities of Management Appointments relevant to the post.


Qualifications, Aptitudes and Experience

  • Basic skills in numeracy and literacy
  • Full UK Drivers Licence


Terms and Conditions

Basic Annual Income –Salary Range £23,108 to £32,146 – overtime rates apply as standard.

37.9 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Annual Holiday Entitlement: 25 days annual leave, 8 public holidays, 2.5 privilege holidays.

12 Month Contract

Security Clearance – Vacancy requires candidate to undergo security clearance checks
