Senior Administrator
Blargoans Ltd have a 12 month contract opportunity for a Senior Administrator to work within our Client’s facility in Caithness.
The purpose of the post is to provide senior administrative support to the Learning & Development team. The job holder will ensure that administrative requirements are understood and delivered to quality standard within agreed timescales.
Main Responsibilities
The Job Holder will:
- Provide ownership, control and tracking of processes specific to area and implement and maintain local instructions
- Keep all data secure and control transmission through company standard procedures
- Provide U4BW/Database/IT Superuser level of knowledge and understanding of systems and provide standard and bespoke reports
- Provide end users with training and advice on process and reporting outcomes
- Make decisions on behalf of managers within delegated authority (e.g. diary management, meeting attendance, re-direction of actions)
- Provide support to facilities and projects including document control administration
- Provide collation, coordination, verification and control of documentation and data to meet department delivery requirements
- Provide general administration function including purchasing, typing, filing, photocopying, scanning, arranging meetings, distribution of documents, answering telephone queries, archiving
- Take minutes at meetings
- Undertake process function specific to area
- Provide initial analysis of data through local reporting process
- Input, maintain and retrieve data from electronic database/system
- Contribute to development and testing of storage/tracking/reporting systems
Aptitudes and Experience
- Higher Grade level of education
- Demonstrable Administration experience
- Asset management experience
- Good IT skills and database management
- Good organisational and communication skills
- A team player with the ability to work on own initiative with minimal supervision and manage deadlines

Terms and Conditions
Basic Annual Income – £33,045 to £42,315 overtime rates apply as standard.
37.9 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Every third Friday being a non working day.
Annual Holiday Entitlement: 25 days annual leave, 8 public holidays, 2.5 privilege holidays.
